Refilling & Recharge

Inspection, Refilling & Maintenance

After a discharge, or when an agent charge reaches the end of its service life, the system has to be restored properly before the kitchen is protected again. We handle wet chemical refilling, cylinder recharging, full system restoration after discharge and replacement of expired components.

How we work

Our Refilling & Recharge process

  1. Assess after discharge

A discharged system is not just an empty cylinder. We check the detection line, fusible links, nozzles and gas valve before anything is recharged.

  2. Refill and recharge

Cylinders are refilled with the correct wet chemical agent for the system and recharged to the specified pressure.

  3. Replace what is spent

Fusible links, cartridges, seals and any component past its service life are replaced rather than reused.

  4. Clean and reset

Nozzle caps are renewed and the system is reset so it presents correctly and discharges cleanly next time.

  5. Re-verify

The restored system is functionally verified before the kitchen is signed back as protected.

Frequently asked questions

The system discharged. How quickly can it be restored?

Contact us on +966 592 066 358 as soon as the kitchen is safe. Restoration timing depends on the system, the components needing replacement and your location, and we will give you a realistic answer rather than an optimistic one.

Can a cylinder simply be topped up?

No. After a discharge the agent charge is replaced, and the components that operated — fusible links, cartridges, seals — are replaced with it. Topping up leaves a system that looks charged but may not perform.

How do we know when an agent charge has expired?

It is recorded on the system documentation and checked at every inspection. Under an AMC we track it and schedule the replacement before it lapses.
